Byrd Flight Stainless Folder Knife, Satin Combo Blade

Designer David Boye created the Flight to showcase a custom-like frame and blade layout while maintaining ergonomic features. The Flight utilizes a lock back mechanism–a locking system positioned on the back of the handle that uses a rocker arm that pivots in the center while the blade is manually deployed with the help of Byrd’s signature comet-shaped hole. This knife is part of Spyderco’s Byrd family which offers all of the same functionality and convenience of Spyderco’s production models but at a lower price point for the budget-conscious or those especially new to knives. This model features stainless steel handle scales in a silver finish, a partially serrated clip point style blade in a satin finish and the reversible pocket clip allows for a tip up or tip down carry option on the traditional side of the handle only.
